This turbo is a direct replacement turbo for an 04-21 sti, the vf48 is from the later year sti listed, however it is built on the same frame as the vf39. This makes it a great turbocharger selection for someone who wishes to increase their stock power levels on their 02-07 wrx to that of stage 3 levels OR it’s also a great drop on replacement for your old worn out STi turbo. This specific charger has absolutely no shaft play and will come with all 5 studs in the exhaust housing as well as both coolant lines and the oil drain tube.
